(Was the 1st lady Article in the 100 years history of the firm) 1968

Did 1year of Industrial Trainee (last year of Article ship) with ICI & Co. Chowringhee Road.

After qualifying CA (sole lady in the final Exam among 500 Male year 1972)

Joined Central Bank of India as Financial Analyst (Jamshedpur Branch) 1972.

After completing one year joined Tata Iron & Steel Company, Jamshedpur (was the 1st lady with an Officer’s rank in the history of the company. 1973

After 4years left the company for domestic reason.

Joined an Audit Firm P.K.Verma & Associates as partner.

Re-joined Tata Steel Ltd, Tata Steel Kolkata

(Tata Centre) year 1993. Finally retired on year 2008.

Member of Social Clubs Calcutta Club & CC&FC. Member of an NGO Centre of Ecological Movement (CEMO)
